Draconian potion of vitality
The main page notes that it may be possible to catch diseases as a vampire (specifically, Astral Vapors). The beggars often carry diseases, yes, that's known. Idk much, but ive gotten rockjoint fighting the beggars in the cities, so theres more to it. Most of them are good effects.I did cure myself at church as well.- ShakenMike 02:15, 24 February 2007 (EST) other sources Praying at chapel alters cures all diseases. Go to the active effects spell page, hover the mouse over each of the spell effects, and it should tell you what spell/effect the effect came from. So far I gotten the disease three times and I'm not sure it was a vampire.I can't even use the highest level spell that is cure disease spell.- ShakenMike 00:53, 24 February 2007 (EST)
67.177.228.64 23:59, 20 February 2012 (UTC) How can I tell which disease I gotten up to now? Or just let yourself become a vampire, do the cure vampirism quest, after which you are forever immune from becoming a vampire again (you can still contract PH but it won't turn you into a vampire). To prevent becoming a vampire, just make sure you cure PH before 72 hours have passed (either by casting cure disease, drinking a cure disease potion, or getting a blessing from a shrine). Afterwards, you're immune to it.) - TheRealLurlock Talk 09:23, 22 February 2007 (EST) I do have two cure disease spells(I can't use it yet due to my Magicka)- ShakenMike 15:18, 22 February 2007 (EST) Porphyric Hemophilia is NOT affected by disease resistance, so no amount of disease resistance will prevent you from catching PH. You can still get Porphyric Hemophilia multiple times, at least before you get vampirism. Of course, you could just become a vampire, do the quest to cure it, and then you'll never have to worry about it again. The only way to get more is with spells or items. I'm not sure 75% is very good number but I only got it once but I got also got it cure as well.- ShakenMike 02:32, 22 February 2007 (EST)ħ5% is the best you can get. Ok thanks and I'll do that then.- ShakenMike 22:05, 21 February 2007 (EST) TheRealLurlock Talk 15:12, 21 February 2007 (EST)
#Draconian potion of vitality full
If you catch the Porphyric Hemophilia disease (which you can only get from fighting vampires), you have 3 full days before it turns into a full-blown case of Vampirism, during which you can cast Cure Disease on yourself, or just visit any temple or shrine and it will be cured for you. Still, you should get yourself a Cure Disease spell from somewhere, just in case. That means you are 75% less likely to become a vampire. I'm not sure my redguard/mage is immune to this type of disease.I'm kind of nervous about becoming a vampire.- ShakenMike 15:06, 21 February 2007 (EST) Well, you're already 3/4 of the way there, Redguards, along with Altmer, Argonians, and Bosmer, are 75% resistant to disease. How many healthy people step outside and instantly get a sunburn that makes summer poolside burns look like a "healthy" tan? *L* How do I avoid becoming a vampire? I would say following that logic it is the disease that kills you.
#Draconian potion of vitality skin
The super-sensitive skin "Sun Damage" is a symptom of the disease. (And even then you're really dying from sun damage, not the disease itself.) - TheRealLurlock 15:45, 24 July 2006 (EDT) However, I don't think there's any other way to die of a disease, other than sun damage from vampirism. Difficult since it starts at 30, meaning it would take at least three simultaneous diseases to bring you that low.) There's also several unique items which drain Endurance when worn, so that might be a factor. Nephele 13:53, 24 July 2006 (EDT) I'm not sure, but it may be possible that diseases which drain Endurance could be fatal if you catch several of them at once. Has anyone else paid attention to these points? I think it would be really useful to figure these things out and have them summarized on this page. You can still have attributes/skills listed in red after drinking a Cure Disease potion, but I think that's generally damage you incurred in some other way. The one exception is vampirism, which does have a progression and gets worse over time.Īlso, I think Cure Disease potions/spells do clean up all the various side-effects of diseases. I think most just have the specified effects on your abilities, which will persist indefinitely (i.e., Brain Rot will cause a constant effect of Drain Strength 5 it doesn't get any worse over time). I'm not sure that uncured diseases ever kill you. I'm not exactly sure myself about long-term effects of diseases, but my impressions differ from those listed by Dieter. 24 Can diseases be used to increase attributes above 100?.21 Does Resist 100% give full immunity?.18 Black-Heart Blight and Chanthrax Blight.14 Can you be a vampire for the second time?.3 How can I tell which disease I gotten up to now?.
